Welcome to the home of Buljan Middle School's Westling Home Page

Buljan wrapped up the 2010/11 season with their first league championship and a third place finish in the Placer/Nevada County Tournament (Buljan's has finished fourth or better, five of the past six years).  At the county tournament three wrestlers were crowned champions (Bulldog  Wrestling Honor Roll) and five wrestlers qualified for the Nor Cal Tournament of Champions.  

The 2011/12 season will begin the first week of December, with practices starting immediately after school until 5:30pm.  Prior to participating, all wrestlers must have an athletic clearance card which can be printed from this site (see below) and given to Coach White prior to 12/5, our first practice.

With numerious returning wrestlers, including a County Champion, the coaching staff is looking forward to another great year and defending our league championship.

Below are several documents that need to be read and completed by the wrestler and his/her parent/guardian.

Athletic Clearance 

Please print and complete this document (athleticclearance.pdf) before the first practice.  No athlete can participate in any practice or event unless this document has been completed and turned into the coaching staff.  You may turn the completed document into Mr. White (BMS teacher) at any time prior to the first practice or you may deliver it to a coach at practice.

Photo/Video Release

Many of our events will be attended by the media or photographers and in an effort to promote our great sport, we will post photos and video of the wresters in competition.  If you wish that your child's picture not be posted on this website, please complete the release form (Photo/Video Release.pdf) before photos of your children are published on this site and return to Coach Maroon or Ash.  Signing this form does not imply that other publications may release photo.  You can see examples here: Photo Gallery.  If you have any questions please ask Coach Maroon or Ash.
